《A Scene, framed 4K videos, 4 pieces, 2023》
上のフロアへ上がっていくと壁面に点在しているのは静物画の中の極々最小限の場面を切り抜いた映像シリーズ《A Scene》。複数の花の静物画から切り抜かれた極小の場面が 抜き出された映像群。撮影技術のない時代に想像で補いながら描かれた動きの速いものの 表現 ( 妙な粘性を持つ水や放射状の形状で描かれた水、カメラに向かって演じるような ポーズで静止する蝶など ) を再現しています。静物画の隅々で密かに進行している艶かしい シーンの断片です。

Scattered on the walls of the upper floor is "A Scene," a series of videos of extremely minimal scenes cut out of still life paintings. The images reference multiple still life paintings of flowers. I reproduce the expressions of fast-moving objects (water with strange viscosity, water painted in radial shapes, butterflies standing still in poses as if they were acting for the camera, etc.) that were painted by the artist's imagination in an era when there was no filming technology. It is a fragment of a fascinating scene secretly going on in the corners of a still life painting.
